{When You Long for Rest} A Spiritual Whitespace {Face}Book Club

Are you longing for rest?  (me too)

What doest rest look like in your season of life?  What holds you back?

We were made for more than just surviving — going on auto-pilot mode — exhausted and soul-weary.

We were created as God’s works of art.  And beautiful art needs lots of whitespace.  Without whitespace, artwork becomes cluttered.

Just like a beautiful painting needs whitespace for colors and images to come alive on the canvas, we need spiritual whitespace.  We need rest. To be known and real.

I am hosting an Online Spiritual Whitespace Book Club where we’ll explore how to make space in our hearts and schedules to experience soul rest.

You can join three ways (it’s free!):

Just order a copy of my book and get a fresh journal ready!

1) You can join anytime by reading the archived blog posts found at the bottom of this page.

2) If you’re here between Jan 22-Apr 30, 2015, simply like my Facebook page.  I’ll post the book club on Facebook using hashtag #soulrestbookclub — and you can get updates live!

3) Sign up to host an in-person Spiritual Whitespace Book Club Gathering in your home or your church.

As a host, you will receive a FREE Small Group Guide and extra, exclusive Handouts with Spiritual Whitespace activities to do with your group, to draw you closer to God and each other!

Move beyond Surviving to a Rejuvenating Place of Soul Rest

How many of us find ourselves running on empty with no time for rest, no time for ourselves, no time for God? Bonnie Gray knows what that’s like.  On the brink of fulfilling a lifelong dream, Bonnie’s plans shattered into a journey through painful memories and anxiety. In her search for answers, she made an important discovery: we all need spiritual whitespace.

Whitespace. It’s the space on a page left unmarked. Whitespace makes art beautiful. It gives the eye a place to rest. Without it, clutter takes over. Just as beautiful art needs whitespace, our souls need spiritual whitespace — a place to rest in order to find balance and beauty. With heartbreaking honesty, Bonnie guides you to discover a better story for yourself, one that feeds your soul and makes room for rest. Infused with biblical encouragement and thought-provoking prompts, this book shows us how to create space in the everyday for God, refreshment, and faith—right in the midst of our stress-frayed lives.
